Explode? Louder!

I chose two quotes that I thought would lend themselves easily to typographic expression: one is a fun quote from Lou Reed about loud music, the other Langston Hughes's poem about a dream deferred. The goal was to find a typographic interpretation that would honor both the content and context of the quotes.
